I shot a wedding with another photographer recently. He shot the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready, I shot the groom and the groomsmen as they got ready. When I’m shooting a bride getting ready, there’s photos of the dress, shoes, flowers, hair, and a ton of other details. Not to mention portraits of mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, and a myriad of other well wishers in addition to bridal portraits and portraits of the bridesmaids. It’s a pretty busy schedule.
Shooting the guys, however, is a different story. I mean just how many shots can I get of drinking beer and playing Rockband? Through much cajoling I did manage to convince these guys to get ready a bit early and join me outside for a few quick portraits though. The guys loved these pictures and I was really happy to get these shots.

Good job hitting the blacks – very dramatic!
