Digital Asset Management Consultation

I’m proud to announce that I’m offering a new service to photo professionals and advanced amateurs. I’ve been fielding a ton of requests from other photographers to help them set up backup and archiving solutions for their digital photography. I’ve come to realize that there are many more photographers out there struggling with digital asset management (DAM) issues.

You want to have your photography archived safely so that it’s easily retrievable but you don’t need shots from a wedding last year cluttering up your working drive and slowing down your computer. I’m here to help. I started working in digital design in the mid ’90s. I’ve handled digital assets for major international clients like Nissan, TD Bank, Bayer and others. I can help you set up a secure and easily accessible data archive that will be within your budget.

I’ll cover work flow from taking the pictures off the card to archiving. I’ll discuss image formats, work flow, backup and archiving. I’ll show you the system I use and I’ll show you other options and help you decide what equipment and method is right for you.
