Jenny was referred to me by my close friend Sonia. Jen’s a teacher and an all around very cool lady. I had an awesome time shooting her and I think her portrait session turned out great. These are some of the shots we got walking around Barrie’s waterfront and downtown area.

I love downtown Barrie. It has everything, and in the summer it’s humming with people going to restaurants, bars and boutique shops. The downtown area has tons of character and makes for a great photo backdrop. You can see the wide variety of shots I was able to get within a five minute walk.
For those photo peeps who have interest, this was all a la Strobist – SB-800 on a stand either bare or though an umbrella. Also, for those of you that are photo inclined, I’m planning to start consulting on digital workflow and backup/archiving, shoot me an email at lucaragogna [at] gmail [dot] com if you’re interested and I’ll post here in a little while with details.
