Hal and Diane
My wife and I flew out to Calgary to shoot Hal and Diane’s wedding. I took a lot of detail shots and here’s a few of my favorites.
Diane is a huge Coke memorabilia collector, so I thought it would be appropriate to shoot the rings on a vintage soda bottle.
The bride had killer shoes and I grabbed a couple of shots that really showed them off. I loved the chair in the shot above and used it in a few of the shoe and dress shots. I like the way the lines in the shoes played with the curves in the screen door below.
The wedding was too much fun. Everybody had a great time and it was really nice to get a couple of days after the wedding to explore Banff. I would love the opportunity to shoot a wedding in the mountains some day. Unfortunately, we had to get back and we missed Stampede by 2 days.
