All Nighter Shoot
I got the awesome opportunity to shoot with some very talented photographers and models last summer. The best part about the shoot was it was at night! It was LEGEN – wait for it – DARY! I love shooting at night. It’s instantly mysterious and daring.
The shoot was already partly underway when I met up with the group. We ran all over Barrie setting up shoots. There’s always a bit of a clandestine or illicit feeling about taking pictures at night even though it’s perfectly legitimate. Sort of like taking a walk in the rain with no umbrella or staying up past dawn, there’s nothing wrong with it per se, but you’re pretty sure your mom wouldn’t approve. Anyhow, tonnes of fun! I’m just sorry I had to leave early (midnight). Next year I’ll make sure to clear my schedule the next day and load up on Redbull so that I can shoot all night.
Now if only I can convince a bride to get married at midnight…
