I shot Laura for the first time almost a year ago. I guess she liked the experience enough to let me shoot her again. This time we waited until the weather was warmer and we tried something different.
There’s an empty industrial building I see on an almost daily basis in Barrie that I thought would be a cool location if I ever had the right model. In fact, when we got there I realized the building had never been finished and wasn’t ever used. The building always looked pretty cool, but sometime in the past year some ne’er-do-wells broke every pane of glass in the place and made it a must shoot location. I don’t advocate vandalism, but thanks, you little Ôªøhoodlums.
I picked up Laura and we trucked it out to the derelict building. She was sporting her trademark purple and black hair, a corset, slip and garters. Perfect. As it was later in the day, we got some beautiful soft window light and I was thrilled with the way the shots turned out.
About a week after we did this photo shoot I drove by the building and all the windows were boarded up. Too bad, it was a great location, and abandoned buildings are hard to come by.

When we finished shooting at the industrial building we headed out to another location. Surprisingly, it was much less creepy than the building.
