Alex + Keren | Married!
I was lucky enough to be able to shoot photos for Alex and Keren’s wedding. The ceremony was outside by the waterfront at the Bear Estate, Cranberry Resort in Collingwood. It was a beautiful day but it was threatening rain. I started to feel rain drops just as the bride started walking down the aisle but the rain held off and the weather concerns were quickly forgotten as the ceremony got underway.
The very first thing I did was take Alex outside and had him stand behind a tree with his back to the door so that I could bring Keren out without him seeing and I could catch the the expression of his first look.
We did some posed creative portraits at the Collingwood Grain Terminal, which was awesome! I’m a sucker for textured walls and the contrast between a beautiful bride and grungy surroundings.
Took some great portraits of the bride and groom. Love these guys. They were so awesome to work with.
Keren is Jewish and they did a Hora which is the craziest chaotic dance you’ve ever seen. It was kinda like a mosh pit. Got some great shots of Alex especially.
Alex and Keren are both travel junkies and Alex learned to love latin dance in South America. They incorporated some steamy moves into the first dance.
All in all it was a beautiful wedding and it went fantastically. I couldn’t be happier for these guys.
