I’ve been hanging on to this one for a long time. Jeff and Christine already have their album delivered and in their hands, so it’s been a while. I usually try to show you fresher stuff, but I’ve been short on time as of late and haven’t been blogging much.
I shot this wedding way back in the spring with the incredible Sarah Guy from Labour Of Love Photography and My Lady Provocateur. I love her wedding photography and she’s a real sweetheart so I was really looking forward to shooting with her. I have another wedding coming up with her this weekend that I’m really looking forward to, I’ll try to show you that one a lot faster than it took me to show you this.
The bride and her sister were having a bit of an emotional moment. Laughing and crying at the same time.
The groomsmen walking to the ceremony.
Jeff and Christine got married in at the Midhurst United Church, a beautiful little, well lit (thank you very much) church just outside of Barrie in Midhurst. I loved the intimate setting of the church. Being small, it seemed like everyone in the church was more of a participant in the ceremony than observers.
This little guy was such a good sport all day, I had to grab this shot of him crawling around during the ceremony. I was actually lucky enough to catch some shots of his first steps earlier in the day.
Love the beautiful soft window light that was falling on the bride from that big round window up front. And how about the lace detail in the dress? I was talking to Christine about her dress after the wedding and she’s still in love with it. I don’t blame her, it looks fantastic.
Check out the shots of Christine running around holding her dress. We were teasing that she had probably practiced posing with the dress on in front of the mirror. She looks so good standing there that I wouldn’t doubt it.
The picture of the socks is one of my favorite group shots ever. It’s my shot, but I have to give credit to Sarah, it was her idea. She’s brilliant!
I love all the green in this shot. You’ll notice there’s a lot of pictures of the couple kissing. Strangely, it didn’t take much convincing to get them kissing.
I’m big on shots of the first dance. Especially when a couple is this into each other. Check out Gabor from Keep Them Dancing dropping beats in the background. He did a great job with the music, everyone had a great time.
The groom dancing with his mom, and right below that Christine and her dad cutting a rug.
Venue: Barrie Country Club
Florist: Annie McKendry
DJ: Keep Them Dancing
Dress: The Bridal Wreath

Stunning pictures. I love them all (especially the ones from the first dance) but man, the ring shot is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing your inspiring work!
You really captured some wonderful expressions during the wedding, excellent timing and anticipation in these shots.
Wonderful work,
